You CAN Create the Business and Life You Want

You CAN Create the Business and Life You Want

Today we want to give you both a pep talk and some tough love.

Let’s start with the pep. We want you to know that we see you and we get you. We know that you have big dreams for your work and your life.

We also want you to know that your business dreams are a lot closer to reality than you might believe right now. We feel confident in this because we’ve helped hundreds of clients bring their own dreams to life.

Now here’s the tough love part: The business and the life you want will not just happen. You have to create them intentionally. So how can you do that? Where should you even start?

Our work has shown us that there are two essential steps to getting where you want to go.

Step 1: Getting Clear

The first step in creating the business and life you want is getting super clear on what that looks like. Remember, success means something different for each of us. You get to decide the path of your business and your life. (How exciting is that?!)

Clarity is important because your big dreams for your business and life are what will keep you fueled and moving forward. When you declare your intentions around a desired outcome, you set something very powerful in motion. Clarity can transform feelings of confusion and overwhelm into feelings of excitement and optimism. Clarity also builds confidence. When you’re more confident, you naturally align yourself with the things you truly want for your business, brand and life.

To build your clarity, ask yourself questions like these:

  • What’s motivating you to start or change your business?
  • What are your hopes and goals for your business?
  • What do you want more of in your life?
  • How do you want to spend your days?
  • What do you NOT want in your business or your life?

The clearer you can be on where you want to go, the easier it will be to get there.

Step 2: Taking Action

This is where a lot of people get stuck. They know deep down what they want, but they get stuck in feelings of overwhelm.

Overwhelm happens when you’re not in action. To move out of overwhelm, you must take the next step needed to move closer to your vision. Operating in a state of overwhelm is the opposite of being high-vibe. Keeping your energy high and creating a plan that’s broken into small, actionable steps is key for moving closer to your goals.

Taking the next, easiest step builds momentum. Easy wins feel expansive, and they encourage you to keep going. When you start to see results, you feel the progress you’re making toward your vision. Be sure to celebrate even the smallest steps forward. Remember that every action is a win. This will keep your vibes and your spirits high!

Move toward the things that lift you up and make you feel good. They build momentum that eventually allows you to move your way through the bigger pieces of what you want to accomplish.

Being in action doesn't have to be hard or feel daunting. That’s low-vibe. It can, and should, consist of things you love doing, and it should come from a place of service and passion (not dread). In other words, what feels good inside is also good for your business. We always tell our clients to pick two or three things they’re actually excited about doing, and commit to them to create forward momentum in their business.

Why Creating Your Brand Is So Powerful

If you’re feeling inspired by this article but your brand (or lack of brand) is feeling out of alignment, creating your brand is a great place to start in creating the business and life you want. Your brand is your ultimate vision board, and it’s out in the world 24/7, communicating on your behalf. It helps you call in more of the people, opportunities and projects you desire. Your brand has the power to influence your audience to take action, which is why it’s so important for it to be thoughtful and memorable.

When your business, brand and being are in alignment and support each other, it creates a vibrational pull that calls in more of the things you want. When each of these elements is a reflection of the other, your business can operate in a state of flow and ease. That’s when you aren’t just surviving; you’re thriving.

  • Your gifts and passions guide what your business should be.
  • Your business enables you to live the life you want to live.
  • Your brand captures who you are and calls in the people and opportunities you desire.
